Lan Rui Yoga is based in Eyke, Bromeswell, and the Woodbridge area.  Lorraine has been practicing yoga for over 12 years and teaching for over 7 years.

My classes are student centered. I believe in allowing each student time to develop in their own way. Variations and modifications are given if needed.

I passionately believe and take pride in welcoming all students whether a beginner or an advanced practitioner. I aim to create a welcoming and fun environment for all.

I enjoy making sure there are options for those that want to take it easier and also options for those that want to challenge themselves further in their practice.

Please bring your own yoga mat and blanket (optional) for savasana.

Dynamic Flow

A 60 mins Dynamic Flow that will energise your body, mind and soul. Designed to build stamina and increase strength, endurance and flexibility. It will include energising poses that will open the body and enable you to move with grace and vitality. Prepare to challenge yourself or take more gentle options.

Ashtanga Primary Series

The Ashtanga Primary Series is a traditional yoga practice that builds sequentially in terms of flexibility and strength as you progress through the series. It involves synchronising the breath with a progressive series of postures that produce intense internal heat and a purifying sweat that in turn detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.

Helps if some experience of yoga or a good fitness level.

Vinyasa Flow

My vinyasa flow class sequences vary each time. We create a focus on breathing and self energy while targeting specific areas of the body. The movements flow and the poses run together and become like a dance. The breath acts as an anchor to the movement as you flow from one pose to the next in time with an inhale or an exhale we can interpret this as a connection between movement and breath.

Hatha Gentle Flow

Take time for yourself to stretch deeply and improve your breathing. Great way to relax and calm your mind and body creating peace. The first part of the class is a gentle flow to include sun salutations and standing postures.

The second part of the class will be more focused on gentle stretches that will work more on the connective tissues (tendons, fascia & ligaments) of the body as opposed to using muscle strength – with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibilityIt will be slow, gentle and deeply relaxing. You will feel nicely stretched.

At the end we have a short pranayama (breathing) practice and mediation to help you feel refreshed and re-energised for the rest of your day.
